SAN FRANCISCO’S 20TH ANNUAL PAROL LANTERN FESTIVAL

Rain or shine, get into the holiday spirit with specialty parols made by Filipino artists and creators, free samples of traditional Filipino holiday treats, live music, and a parol lighting ceremony.

Feel at home and bring back warm memories featuring traditional Filipino holiday treats from Ate Rosie Drapiza, Kababayan, Lota & KJake, Phil House, Ling Nam, Mang Bonnie, and Ate Tess of JT's Restaurant .

Free samples until it lasts.

Parol Showcase, Live Music, and Cultural Performances

3-6 PM Yerba Buena Center of the Arts Forum

 

Enjoy performances from local Filipino musicians and community members including Kapwa Kultura, Kulintang Dialect, Galing Bata Student Choir, and Retro Pop.

 

Parols by SF Farol and parols created by community organizations competing for the Tala Awards will also be on display in the YBCA Forum.

THE TALA AWARDS

The TALA Awards will continue the tradition of judging parols submitted based on festival theme, craftsmanship, concept execution & creativity, and exhibition presentation.

7-8PM in the Yerba Buena Gardens Main Stage

At YBCA, we continue to prioritize the health and well-being of our community, and our protocols meet or exceed local, state and federal public health requirements.

Per city guidelines, masks are strongly recommended but no longer required for visitors indoors at YBCA.

YBCA no longer requires proof of vaccinations or a negative test to enter our buildings.

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you cancel your visit to YBCA and take the time to rest and recover.
